Heger dry drilling

Heger diamond core drills for dry drilling

Dry and dust free drilling is one of the most present challenges on the current market of drilling. Heger has acknowledged this challenge and has designed a new product range for those requirements. The drill segment is based on a heat resistant metal composition with a good wear behaviour as well as state of the art diamond crystals to grind down even heavy rebars in a consistent and determined way. A specially calculated helix tube design provides perfect airflow to cool down the drill segment as well as to remove the dust and the iron particles. The high life time and the constantly fast drilling speed of the Heger Dry Drill segments leads to a profitable and absolutely clean drilling job.

Heger and SEAM membership

Heger - founding member of SEAM

As a founding member of SEAM (Sustainable European Abrasives Manufactuer) Heger is operating in a sustainable way. That Sustainability is not just a hollow phrase for Heger is proven by the fact that the company has invested in a photovoltaic power station with a capacity of round about 200kWp. The production of diamond tools is consuming lots of energy and a big part of this is currently supplied by Hegers own solar panels. With this, Heger is reducing its CO² emissions by roughly 100to each year! As a result the CO² footprint of each employee is 2to less – each year!. This is lived sustainability! This is Heger – Made in Germany.
